Steve Miller, Jazz at Lincoln Center

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame icon Steve Miller returns to Jazz at Lincoln Center to celebrate two late legends: saxophonist Eddie Harris and drummer Chico Hamilton. Miller’s signature blues-rock guitar style will be complemented by an all-star band, featuring keyboardist Shelly Berg, guitarist Brian Nova, bassist Russell Hall, saxophonists Craig Handy, Lauren Sevian and Patrick Bartley, drummer Herlin Riley, and trumpeter Michael Rodriguez.  

Additionally, the Louisiana rhythms of Lil’ Nathan and the Zydeco Big Timers will infuse the performance with their energetic sound that blends traditional southwestern Louisiana music with contemporary flair. Nathan Williams Jr., known as Lil’ Nathan, leads the Zydeco Big Timers, continuing the legacy of his father, Nathan Williams Sr., and his band, The Zydeco Cha Chas. Celebrated for their high-energy performances, they’ll light up the stage with the soulful spirit and irresistible groove of Louisiana’s rich musical heritage.
